During the Covid19 lockdown, with families facing redundancy or furlough, there was a surge in demand for help from food banks. The LTCFC stepped in to help one such food bank based in St Barnabas Church, North London. After opening in early May, and initially offering help to 45 families facing food poverty, the demand for help had increased by over 600%. On hearing this we made a £500 donation of essential provisions specifically catered towards those with children.
