A day trip to Calais was organised for the children, courtesy of P&O European Ferries and Esso Fresh Smell Diesel who supplied the fuel for all 120 taxis. Many of the taxis had been sponsored by some of the city Livery companies and we were given permission to commence the outing from the Guildhall in the City of London – a real honour!
