1994 – Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

The Mad Hatter’s Christmas Party, held at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane becomes an annual event.

The management and staff of the Hotel all give their time free to organise this wonderful tea party for hundreds of children where many stars such as Ernie Wise, Lenny Henry, Frank Bruno, and Paul Daniels, attend to entertain the children.

The Chairman of the famous London store Harrods, Mohammed Al-Fayed, gives each of the 600 children a goody bag and arranges delivery by the Harrods miniature coach drawn by two Shetland ponies into the Great Room of the Grosvenor House.
