For example, if you make a donation via our website, you make a donation via post or telephone, you register for an event or you communicate directly with us or otherwise provide us with your personal information. When we ask for your personal information, we give you the option to opt out of communications via post, telephone (which includes text message) and email.

This can include information such as your name, address, email address, phone number, credit or debit card details and whether you are a tax payer so that we can claim Gift Aid. These third parties will ask you whether you are happy to be contacted by us and we will not use your information to contact you without explicit permission given by you via these sites.
Using your credit or debit card to donate

We do not store your credit or debit card information following the completion of your transaction. All card details are securely destroyed once a donation has been processed.
Being able to communicate with you is of the upmost importance, your support will help us to raise money for the many appeals that we receive. We want you to feel comfortable about your decision to give us your personal information and how we use it.
We will use the details you provide to us to communicate with you about how we are transforming the lives of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children across the UK. We hold yearly outings and events for the children and we fundraise to support the many appeals that we receive. We would also like to tell you how your support is helping and other ways you can help in the future whether that’s through events, fundraising or volunteering.
We will never pass your personal information on to other organisations for them to use for their own marketing purposes.
