I would like to start my 2025/26 Treasurer’s Report by thanking the Chairman, Secretary, and my fellow Committee Members for their support during another successful year for the LTCFC. I would also like to thank all our volunteer taxi drivers and supporters for their continued efforts and support during 2025.
This year has once again been a good year in terms of the amount of donations and sponsorship received by the LTCFC, and this has allowed us to deliver additional support for the Appeals we regularly receive, along with our traditional Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and Hertfordshire Zoo Summer Outing.
On behalf of our charity and the children we support, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our benefactors, organisations, and individuals for their continued support and generosity.
As a result, we have once again managed to undertake both our annual Hertfordshire Zoo outing (supported by 60 volunteer taxi drivers and their vehicles) for 200 children and our well-established Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for 700 children at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Central London.
We have also managed to double our budget for supporting individual Appeals, allowing us to assist various schools and centres, whilst also funding bespoke items of specialised equipment for some of the disadvantaged children we support. As part of this support, we are delighted to have been able to facilitate the provision of two much needed Sensory Rooms at Hatton School in Redbridge, and Leverton Primary School in Waltham Abbey.
| A summary of the major Appeals supported:- |
- Redbridge Hatton School Sensory Room
- Leverton Primary School Sensory Room
- Crofton Infants School Outdoor Play Centre
- Docklands Sailing & Watersports Centre – Windsurfing Appeal
- Arts for Life Project – Pottery Kiln
- Willow Family Wellbeing Centre – Projector Equipment
- Mount Stewart School – Communications Boards.
In 2025 we also managed to run two successful fundraising events which helped to increase our income in support of our ongoing activities. These fundraisers comprised of our Ace Café Fundraiser organised by Samson Cohen in April 2025, and a Christmas Fundraiser at the Burlington Arcade in Central London in December. I would like to thank both these organisations for allowing us the opportunity to fundraise at their locations and hopefully we will organise similar fundraising events in the future.
Finally, I would like to thank all the individuals, families and organisations who have raised money on our behalf and made website, Just-Giving, Much-Loved, text message, cheque, bank, and cash donations during 2025/26 – your generous donations are very much appreciated, and we thank you for your continued support of our charity. I would also like to thank The Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers alias Wire Workers, along with thanks to numerous Lodges of the London Freemasons, The Harapan Trust, Pearly Kings & Queens of Finsbury, ShareGift Plc, The Old Royal Nave College Chapel Fund, Ink Recruitment, Wenzel’s, DCL Insurance Brokers, A&S Services Ltd (Hoddesdon), Martin Cordell Accountants Ltd and Cabbie Candles for all their generous donations in 2025/26.
With your continued support I look forward to another successful year for the LTCFC in 2026.
Kind Regards
Colin Greaves
