On Sunday 15 September 2019, we will be participating in the 55 mile London to Brighton Cycle Ride.

There are 15 of us taking part, some LTCFC committee members, some fellow taxi drivers and our friends.

Most of us and our associates have not ridden a bike since our teenage years! The 55-mile course may prove challenging but we are confident that we will complete the bike ride.

It must be said that there are varying levels of fitness within the group. We are now all committed to our individual training plans and can be found most Sunday mornings energetically cycling (or perhaps huffing and puffing) around Central London and the Greater London area.

As part of our 2019 fundraising activities, we are aiming to raise £5000. This will go towards funding our 2020 Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is an annual event held every January in a prestigious London hotel. The party is for 600 special needs and disadvantaged children. The children get to have a fun-filled day out that they will never forget!
